The producers of Melbourne’s newest theatre production the Phantom of the Opera – Love Never Dieshave asked VBRRA to extend an offer to bushfire-affected families to the preview of the show next Saturday and Tuesday evening.
We understand the the difficulties these timelines may present for many of you, however the producers approached VBRRA just late this afternoon and were eager for us to pass on these details after the success of a similar offer last year to the Mary Poppins production.
Having been seen by more than 100 million people worldwide and taken more than US $5 billion at the box office, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, is widely regarded as the single most successful piece of entertainment in history. Now, the story of the Phantom continues in a brand new musical production, LOVE NEVER DIES. With an award winning creative team including Director Simon Phillips (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and one of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s finest scores to date, LOVE NEVER DIES will be the first new Australian production of an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical in nearly 20 years.
100 tickets are available for Saturday 21 May @ 8pm and another 100 for next Tuesday 24 May @ 8pm.
If you or anyone from your community would like to attend, please let me know the preferred session, how many tickets, full names and after hours contact details including phone number and e-mail address, as soon as possible. Bids for the Saturday night tickets will be taken until midday on Friday and until midday on Monday for the Tuesday evening’s session.
We will ensure tickets are divided equitably amongst as many communities as possible.
