Rebuilding information session

Alpine Shire Council will host an information session for residents who lost their homes in the bushfires and are looking to rebuild.
Council's Manager Planning and Environment, Heather Green said the information session would cover a range of topics including site clean-up, the new building regulations, building and planning permits, native vegetation management, waste disposal and septic systems.
"Council staff will be on hand to speak to people individually after a short presentation and there will be information kits for people to take with them," Ms Green said.
"While the session is particularly targeted at those rebuilding homes, others who are interested in the information are welcome to attend," she said.
The Rebuilding Information session will be held at The Savoy Club, Myrtleford on Monday, 23 March from 5pm to 6.30pm.
