Hall Upgrade - Community Input Sessions
18 Apr 2010 - 19 Apr 2010
Sunday 18th April at 2.30pm, and
Monday 19th April at 7.30pm
The Committee has engaged Cathy McGowan to facilitate these meetings. Cathy lives in the Indigo Valley, and has a wealth of experience in dealing with issues in rural communities. She is well known to most in the rural sector, and we are not only fortunate to have been able to get Cathy involved, but also have confidence that she will make the sessions interesting and get the maximum input out of those attending (which can sometimes be a challenge!)
This is the opportunity for all ideas to be canvassed, and to discuss the positive and negatives aspects (e.g. consider implications for maintenance, practicalities etc). Comments on what has been developed to date are also more than welcome. We have all also learnt a lot about the value of the Hall in the last thirteen months, in circumstances other than simply holding meetings and the occasional function, which will certainly add a different flavour to what would have been prioritised prior to our fire experiences.
It is recommended that all interested community members attend the information night, and one of the Community Input meetings, to be involved in what is clearly going to be one of the most exciting periods in the history of the Hall.
